Waqf is right for both fakir and Misskin

Referring to the verse of the Quran, the Governor said that ‘it mentions two types of needy- fakir (Muslim) and Misskin (non-Muslim). This means that every needy has the right to benefit from Waqf. Only the lawsuit is being held among themselves.

Questioning the validity also said that the concept of Waqf was once considered non-Islamic even in Muslim countries, but in 1913 the Act introduced by Mohammad Ali Jinnah gave it validity. Now tell me, what should be its direction.

Questions have been raised on Waqf before

Earlier on April 3, the Governor of Bihar said during UP that, ‘I stayed in the Waqf Ministry in UP for some time. I did not see anything other than the case. The Muslim Women’s Safety Act was passed in 1980.

It said that if there is no one to take care of the divorced woman, then she will be given an allowance from the Waqf Board. Two years later, I asked in Parliament what provision the Waqf Board has made and how much amount is given to a divorced woman as a allowance.
