First statement made in retired magistrate’s case Special Public Prosecutor Sagar Tiwari said that when the High Court acquitted the four accused in the 8 serial blast case, many deficiencies were told in the investigation. These include the then Inspector Rajendra Nain, the then ADG AK Jain, journalist Prashant Tandon and Dinesh Mahawar, who prepared the bicycle.

The 65B certificates were first presented in relation to the call detail record (CDR) against the accused, which was not presented in the main case. The High Court then considered it a major shortage in the investigation.

Indian Mujahideen K Yasin Bhatkal had said in a 164 statement in Telangana that Riyaz Bhatkal had provided 10 IED unit to Atif Amin and Arif Junaid for Jaipur bomb blast. This fact was put before the court.

1. Shahbaz Ahmed / Hussain aka Shanu
Bomb blasts took place on 13 May 2008 in Jaipur. In this regard, the responsibility was taken by emailing the media house in the name of Indian Mujahideen on 14 May 2008. During the investigation, the IP address came out of the new cyber cafe in Sahibabad in Ghaziabad, UP. Cyber Cafe Director Madhukar Mishra, in a statement on May 19, stated the accused’s Hulia, saying that the accused had brought the CD to email at 8.30 pm. There was a bruise on his eye. His face was similar to Shahbaz.

Arguments on the basis of which Shahbaz Ahmed proved to be guilty
- Cyber Cafe Director Madhukar Mishra identified Shahbaz on 3 September 2008.
- Shahbaz was the treasurer of the banned terrorist organization SIMI and the All India Media in -charge. In 2001, a case is registered in this regard at the NF Colony police station in Delhi. The trial of the case is going on in the court.
- Asadullah Akhtar alias Bone, in a statement to Miyapur Judicial Magistrate of Telangana on 18 October 2013, told about Shahbaz and other accused involved in the Jaipur bomb blast.
2. Mohammad Saif
On 13 September 2008, there were bomb blasts at 5 places in Delhi. During the investigation, Batla House encounter took place in Jamia Nagar. During this time Mohammad Saif was caught. Mohammad Saif confessed in a statement to Delhi Police investigating officer Sanjeev Kumar Yadav that he had also blasted in Jaipur. For this, on May 10, 2008, the shop number 555 from Prem & 555 to 20 thousand shrapnel located at Chandni Chowk, became an engineer student with his partner.
Prosecution arguments on the basis of which Mohammad Saif proved guilty
- Prem and Company shop owner Subhash Chandra identified Mohammad Saif.
- Mohammad Saif told that he came to Jaipur in the name of Harsh Yadav and bought a bicycle in the same name.
- Mohammad Saif signed the bill in English as Harsh Yadav. In the FSL investigation, they were matched with Mohammad Saif’s sample signature.
- Based on the FSL report, the shop purchasing the bicycle could be identified.
- The accused planted a bomb on Manak Chowk Khanda.
- Anju cycle company salesman Prakash San and Dinesh Mahawar, who worked to tighten the bicycle at the shop, had the first testimony. His statements were not made in previous cases.
- Salesman Prakash San identified Mohammad Saif on 20 December 2008.
- In the FSL investigation, the pellets used in the bomb and the pellets purchased from Chandni Chowk were found to be uniform.
3. Role of Sarwar Azmi
B Tech Pass accused Sarwar was arrested by UP and Rajasthan ATS on 21 January 2009 from Lucknow. During interrogation, accused Sarwar Azmi had bomb the Chandpol Hanuman temple. Its opportunity will be confirmed. The accused told the atlas bicycle at the scene.

– Sarwar Azmi bought a bicycle from Mohit bicycle shop number 80 of Jaipur.
– Shop owner Laxman Jajani identified Sarwar on 30 January 2009.

– Traveled from Delhi to Jaipur and Jaipur to Delhi in the name of Rajhans.
During the investigation, Mohammad Saif gave the names of 10 people associated with the blast.
4. Role of Saifurrahman Ansari alias Saifur
Madhya Pradesh ATS arrested Saifurrahman Ansari from Bhopal railway station on 13 April 2009. The then ASI ATS Anup Singh Nain presented him before CJM MP Tiwari in Bhopal. The accused admitted to the magistrate to join the bomb blasts in Faizabad and Jaipur.

- On 23 April 2009, the accused told IO Satyendra Singh Ranaut in Jaipur that he had planted a bomb on a bicycle in front of the flower shop number 4,5,6 on Chhoti Chaupar.
- The accused bought a bicycle of Hercules Company from Hemraj Cycle Shop No-84.
- The owner of the bicycle shop, Lalit, identified the accused on 1 May 2009.
- Saifurrahman bought a bicycle in the name of Hindu name Ajay Singh.
- Saifurrahman traveled in the name of Vikas Soni.
Even after 17 years, 5 accused are absconding, a minor accused in the teenage court
Five accused are still absconding in the Jaipur bomb blast case. These accused are Mohammad Khalid, Bada Sajid, Iqbal Bhatkal, Riyaz Bhatkal and Mirza Shadab Baig. At the same time, Ashdullah Akhtar alias Haddi, Yasin Bhatkal and Ariz Khan alias Junaid Batla House are lodged in Tihar Jail in Delhi. They could not be arrested yet due to the court’s stay.
